Rabbit Hole Sessions: Ableton Lab

Lineup

About This Event

Have a musical idea, or just the itch to make something? Rabbit Hole Sessions is an ongoing Ableton Live 12 lab for curious beginners, returning music makers and producers who want a regular place to practice. We watch short lessons from Doctor J Teaches Music (used with his permission), talk through the ideas, and spend most of the session making music. Dr. Michael Hummel hosts the room and learns alongside the group, with time to help each other and share what we make. Over time we explore beats, melodies, audio, arranging, sound design, mixing and performance. The people in the room and their projects shape each gathering, and everyone learns at their own pace. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*Come ready to make:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\* a laptop with Live 12 installed and authorized, a charger and headphones. Live Lite is enough for the foundation sessions. You're also welcome to just watch and join the discussion. Learn more from Doctor J at doctorjteachesmusic.com.
