Be respectful of others' creative journeys and identities; ask people to stop if you feel uncomfortable; contact our team if unable to resolve an issue. Problematic behavior will result in being asked to leave our community.

As creators, we recognize that the creative process can be emotionally intense and deeply personal. Our community encourages:

  • Acknowledging and expressing emotions related to creative work and industry challenges

  • Listening without judgment when fellow creators share their experiences

Creative Collaboration Guidelines

Intellectual Property Respect

  • Always credit others' work and ideas appropriately
  • Ask permission before sharing someone else's creative work
  • Respect confidentiality when viewing work-in-progress
  • Honor collaboration agreements and shared project ownership

Constructive Feedback Culture

  • Offer feedback that is specific, actionable, and respectful
  • Focus on the work, not the person
  • Ask for consent before providing unsolicited critique
  • Balance constructive criticism with acknowledgment of strengths

Resolve Conflicts Peacefully

We encourage open, respectful communication to resolve conflicts:

  • Try direct, respectful conversation first when issues arise
  • Encourage peer-to-peer discussions and constructive feedback
  • Respectfully address behavior that disrupts the creative environment
  • Report unresolvable issues to White Rabbit staff or organizers
  • Participate in mediated discussions when requested

Digital and Online Conduct

Our community extends online through social media, digital collaboration, and virtual events. Prohibited online behaviors include:

  • Impersonating other community members or creators
  • Posting creative content without proper rights or attribution
  • Sharing private information, conversations, or creative works publicly without consent
  • Harassment or intimidation through digital channels
  • Spam or excessive self-promotion that disrupts community discussions

Health and Safety Guidelines

Illness Policy

  • Please stay home if you're feeling ill to protect our community
  • Masks and hand sanitizer are available at our facilities
  • Contact our team if you test positive for COVID-19 after visiting
  • We support virtual participation when in-person attendance isn't possible

Workspace Safety

  • Follow all equipment and facility safety guidelines
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
  • Respect capacity limits for spaces and activities
  • Keep common areas clean and organized

Apologize for Mistakes and Learn

We all make mistakes. When they happen in our creative community:

  • Own up to disrespectful behavior or mistakes honestly
  • Apologize sincerely to those affected
  • Take concrete steps to learn and avoid repeating the behavior
  • Accept feedback gracefully and use it for personal growth
  • Support others who are working to improve their behavior

Media and Documentation Guidelines

To protect our creative community and respect privacy:

Photography and Recording

  • Always ask permission before photographing someone's work or workspace
  • Obtain signed release forms for any photos intended for publication
  • Respect when people prefer not to be photographed or recorded
  • Be mindful of works-in-progress that creators may not want documented

Sharing and Attribution

  • Everything shared in our community is considered private by default
  • Require written consent for sharing conversations or ideas publicly
  • Always provide proper attribution when sharing others' work
  • Respect when creators ask for confidentiality about their projects

Consequences and Enforcement

White Rabbit staff and organizers are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive creative environment. We may:

  • Take appropriate action in response to disrespectful or harmful behavior
  • Provide mediation and conflict resolution support
  • Issue warnings or temporary suspensions for code violations
  • Remove participants from events or revoke community access without warning in severe cases
  • Work with affected parties to restore community harmony
  • No refunds will be provided for removal due to code violations

Our goal is always peaceful conflict resolution and community restoration when possible, while maintaining the safety and inclusivity of our creative space.
