THE BICYCLE THIEF is the quintessential film work of Italian neorealism. Antonio's bicycle is stolen, and his new job is doomed unless he can find the thief. With the help of his lively son, Bruno, he combs Rome, growing increasingly desperate for justice. Join us this Saturday for a poignant experience that was voted the greatest film of all time in 1952 by filmmakers and critics (Sight & Sound). There will be an introduction by film instructor Rob Dew.
