About This Event

Medicare coverage in Oregon is shifting for 2027. Providence Health Plan is leaving most of its insurance business, and other plans and networks are changing too. If you’re on Medicare, don’t assume your current coverage will work the same way next year. You have until December 7 to make changes, which take effect January 1.

Licensed insurance agent Beata Chapman will explain what’s changing locally and how to compare your options, including how to check that a plan covers your doctors and prescriptions. Bring your questions and any notices you’ve received from your plan. You can also enroll at the event.

All are welcome. Come for yourself, a parent, or someone you help care for.

Beata specializes in Medicare and represents many plans in Jackson County, including Medicare Supplement, Part D, Medicare Advantage, and Dual-Special Needs plans for people with both Medicare and Medicaid. She has worked in senior services for more than 25 years and continues to support her clients after they enroll.
