AI tools are turning up everywhere: in your inbox, on your phone, in your kids' homework and at your job. More arrive every month, they improve quickly, and most of us never got a proper introduction. This is that introduction. In one afternoon, Teighe Thorsen gives you a working map of AI in late 2026: the main kinds of tools, what each is good at and where it fails, and how to get useful answers instead of confident nonsense. We'll talk about what AI means for work, learning and politics, and how to use it ethically, including when not to use it at all. Then we try vibe coding: you describe a small app in plain English and watch an AI build it. Yes, you can do it, and you'll leave with something you made. For anyone who feels behind, or skeptical. No experience needed. Bring a laptop if you can.
